Quo Vadis?

Aleigh Esmile.

Dear, I'm not very good with words.
Hopefully, pictures suffice.

A compilation of rambles about hardships, medicine, aspirations, travel, food and anything about everything beautiful in life.

As you stride there, behind your future

Remember me, the one without mature

Sow your heart to your soul

Can’t lose another to a growl

I sit in the throne of the lone

And just moan

A sigh to you

When I see skins collide

I remember the bride

In my dreams

Covered in seas of blankets.

Patrick Dempsey is turning 46 today !

(January 13)

 Happy Birthday!

Watching Grey’s Anatomy has saved me a lot of times from being alone on Fridays and from shifting to a non-science course. Because of Grey’s I’m still in Life Sciences and I still want to become a doctor. Thank you McDreamy for the many years of priceless smirks, sexiness and believable doctor act. Thank youuuu Happy Birthday Patrick Demsey!!!!

That you fall in love with someone who loves you—really loves you. (Or fall even deeper in love if you’re already there.) That you finally, finally fall in love with yourself.

That you breathe and allow yourself to be silly every now and then. That you don’t take everything so seriously. That…

The past few days were happy times spent with family and the people I consider family. I was too lazy to take anything other than normal snapshots but I’d like to think they’d suffice for a blog post.

24th/25th (1st row):

  • Christmas eve with cousins and grandparents over at uncle’s resort.
  • Caught up with cousin Aleigh about our how our academic lives are going downhill (she’s a sophomore at the Ateneo).
  • Bullshat (BULLSHIT IS A CARD GAME OKAY) my way through part of the evening with Iana and our aunt.
  • FOOD.
  • FOOD.
  • A and I’s little kid cousins from their mother’s side were running around the house like cute little bunnies.
  • FOOD.
  • Made s’mores with A and I. Would’ve taken photos if we weren’t busy trying to set our coals on fire and getting our mallows to melt. They were goooood.
  • FOOD.
  • Shortly after dinner, A and I watched movies in our room until she decided to go to sleep and I was left alone watching movies until 5 in the morning.
  • We also made our bucket lists while watching and since we were discussing about gay people (it started with one of us saying “I just found out recently that my crush has a boyfriend!!!”), mine includes getting someone gay to be straight. Some of the other items are here, and some are too shallow and weird to even make public.
  • What happened in the morning was more food, and wind, and food, and swimming around, until the afternoon came and we had to leave the resort because they had clients coming over at 3.
  • When I got home, I got some sleep and then more food.

26th (2nd row):

  • Went to ATC to get my planner.
  • It was actually reserved for someone else, but I convinced the NBS girl to give it to me instead by saying I was from Los Baños and I’ve looked in other branches. GO ME.
  • But then I felt bad for the person who reserved it. But then again, that’s life.
  • Then we went to LB because my mom wants to see the ginormous cheese-flavored (it’s yellow okay) Christmas tree.
  • Then we went to Calamba to have Yellow Cab take-out.

27th (3rd row):

  • ATC again, but this time with my “family” in the org. Hihihiii.
  • We drove to Ayala Alabang Village and we got in by Kuya Mo’s excuse that we’re going to inquire about a wedding in St. James Church (I’m not good with church names they’re always so long okay).
  • We drove around for a while and admired the houses we saw for they were so beautiful and purdyyyy <3
  • Then we actually went to the church and when we got there, there happened to be a wedding about to begin so we sat there inside the church for a while until they opened the doors and a beautiful bride walked in <3
  • Then we laughed at and took photos of Kuya M’s license picture.
  • Then we went to this park/meadow reminiscent of the field in the Sound of Music where Maria twirls around. And Kuya M and Ate Sarrah sat for a while by the water while Kuya Jepoy, TJ, and I wandered around and took photos.
  • Then we drove by the Bilibid prisons (again, names).
  • Then we went to Kuya Mo’s house and ate merienda.
  • And he has a Diana mini! Hihihiii, so cute.
  • Then he let me borrow his copy of Lolita which I doubt I’ll finish before they graduate on March. Haha.
  • After that, we made our way back to ATC and Ate S and I called it a day.
  • I went to Festival where my parents were and we made our way to Conti’s in Nuvali for dinner and I had the most amazing Chicken ala Kiev. And then my parents thought it would be fun if my brother and I split the bill.

Good times, good times.

I could never blog/ write as good as my cousin. So glad to have spent time with my relatives this Christmas :) Gay-friendzone talk again soon, C! ;)

Amused.

Anyway, Singapore was definitely filled with new experiences such as travelling with a friend instead of my family, ice skating (i don’t know why my mom never took us ice skating before -.-) and also it’smy first time in Singapore! If there’s one thing that stuck to me, its that how clean everywhere we went to were. Main objective was to visit my close college friend Elise from her second home. I met her family and bros. They were very cool. Me and my travel bud Frances were very lucky to be adopted by the Chanco family for five days. Those five days went by so freaking fast! We went to Orchard for some shopping, Universal Studios (my favorite :D), marina bay sands skating rink, ion, takashimaya and a lot more.
